Lexis 351(Nov. 17, 1999) (successfully argued that the State of Alabama was not legally obligated to immediately refund disputed franchise tax receipts); Williams v. Pryor, No. 99-10798, 2000 U.S. App. Lexis 25425 (11th Cir. October 12, 2000) (successfully argued that the Alabama sexual devices statute is not facially unconstitutional). He also has extensive experience dealing with cases involving complex questions related to the separation of powers between the three branches of State government. See, e.g., Gomer v. Phillip Morris, Inc., 106 F. Supp. 2d 1262 (M.D. Ala. 2000) (Successfully argued that the plaintiff was not entitled to an order directing the State legislature to spend the State's tobacco settlement recovery solely upon Medicaid expenses).
